Question: What's Fan
Speed Monitor?
Answer:
The 3-pin Fan
Speed Monitor connector looks like a standard 3pin case fan
connector. When it is connected to an available fan port on the
motherboard, provides real time rotational speed of the power
supply fan to the
system. This
feature provides an added level of security alarm to the system.
In the event that the power supply's fan failure, the system can now be
programmed to shut down immediately or sound an alarm. Most
motherboard has at least one extra 3-pin fan connector port in
addition to the standard CPU fan connector. Fan Speed Monitor
connector
does not have to be connected to the motherboard in order for the power
supply fan to work. This power supply has a fan speed controller
with built-in
temperature sensor.

NEW Better
Mechanical Design:
Special ultra-quiet 120mm
fan
(built-in thermostat controlled) draws
massive
amounts of hot air in from the CPU into the
power supply and exits out the back of the PC. Circular
tube design fan-guard
generates
less drag and increase overall
airflow.
|
Additional Mechanical Design Advancement:
- Honey-comb rear vent structure for improved ventilation.
- Round circular tube fan guard generates less drag, noise, and
provides more overall airflow.
- Patented EZ-Extract power connectors allow you to unplug at ease without hurting your fingers.
|
- High voltage spike testing on
every unit:
Each
unit is verfied for safety by going through a thorough HI-POT test. For example, 1,500 Volt AC
spike is introduced at each unit for up to 60 seconds under
10mA. Each unit is then serialized for product quality
tracking.
- Wide AC Range
Line Regulation
Stable
DC output voltage on all rails is consistently maintained even when AC
voltage level is reduced during the hotest days and nights. Do you
know that many utility companies often have to reduce AC
voltage to compensate for high electrical demand ?
